The first match of the four-match Test series between India and Australia was played at Nagpur and the Indian team dominated the first two days of the match. The Indian team has taken a significant lead of 144 runs at the end of the second day on the strength of the brilliant performance by the Indian batsmen. Captain Rohit Sharma’s century and unbeaten fifties by Ravindra Jadeja and Akshar Patel were the highlights of the second day.
