In IPL 2023, on Tuesday (May 2), the first-placed Gujarat Titans and last-placed Delhi Capitals clashed. Delhi captain David Warner won the toss and elected to bat first in this match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. However, Gujarat’s leading fast bowler Mohammad Shami called his decision wrong.

After this performance, Shami moved up to the second best Indian bowler in the power play in IPL history. Shami took 4 wickets in the power play giving 7 runs in this match. In this regard, the honor of best bowling in IPL goes to Ishant Sharma. He took 5 wickets for 12 runs in 3 overs against Kochi Tuskers Kerala in 2011 while playing for Deccan Chargers. So, Dhawal Kulkarni took 3 wickets in 8 runs.
