As the Asian Games will be played in the T20 format of cricket, young players from the Indian Premier League can get a chance in this team. It could include Rinku Singh, Tilak Verma, Shivam Dub, Akash Madhwal, Umran Malik and Prithvi Shaw. Apart from this, experienced players like Ajinkya Rahane and Bhuvneshwar Kumar can also play in this tournament along with Dhanav.
Shikhar Dhawan has always been an important player of the team. He has led the team to victory many times. His performance as a captain has also been good.
