Indian cricket team’s veteran opener Shikhar Dhawan is currently out of the national team. Now he will be seen playing in the 16th season of IPL in the upcoming period. This time he has got an opportunity to lead the Punjab Kings team. He recently gave an interview to a major news channel before this season of IPL. This time he also commented on his private life.

Shikhar Dhawan separated from his wife Ayesha Mukherjee last year. Currently, their divorce case is pending and the result may be announced soon. When he was asked a question on this issue in this interview, he said,

“It is true that our marriage did not work out. But I don’t want to blame anyone for this. I had no experience of how any relationship would work. I was single till the age of 26-27. All these things happened after that.”

When asked about getting married a second time, he said,

“There is no such thought at present. However, one thing is certain that if you decide to get married again, you will not make the same mistake as before. One will marry only after realizing perfection.”

Shikhar Dhawan married Ayesha Mukherjee in 2012. Ayesha was divorced at that time. In such a situation, Shikhar gave his name to both her daughters. After that, they both had a son named Joravar. Joraar is with Ayesha after Shikhar and Ayesha separate. After meeting his son, Shikhar posts videos with him on social media.
