Shock for Royals as IPL 2023 schedule announced, key bowler out for entire season

The schedule of the Indian Premier League i.e. IPL tournament has been announced recently. The inaugural match of IPL 2023 will be played between defending champions Gujarat Titans against Chennai Super Kings on March 31. At the same time, the Rajasthan Royal team, who traveled to the finals last year, got a big shock as soon as the schedule was announced. Rajasthan’s leading fast bowler famous Krishna was ruled out of the entire IPL season. Rajasthan gave this information through a social media post.

Krishna, one of the bowlers in the Indian ODI team, suffered an injury during the tour of Zimbabwe in August last year. He has a back injury. He has not played any form of cricket since then. He underwent surgery on Thursday (February 16). So he will not be able to play any form of cricket for almost six months now. Rajasthan Royals released a statement and gave this information.

The legendary Krishna was first seen playing for Rajasthan Royals last season. Rajasthan made a huge bid of 10 crores on him. He has been outstanding for Rajasthan this season, taking 19 wickets in 17 matches. With Krishna out, Rajasthan’s fast bowling will now be dominated by New Zealand’s Trent Boult, Navdeep Saini, Obed McCoy and Kuldeep Sen.

Rajasthan will begin their campaign in IPL 2023 against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 2. This season, once again, Rajasthan will look to reach the finals like last year and win their second title. This season too, Sanju Samson will be leading the team.
