Interestingly, the last four Border-Gavaskar Trophy series played by India have been kept to themselves. The result of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series played in 2017 was in favor of India. India won the series 2-1. India also won the 2019 series 2-1. After that, India also retained the 2021 Border-Gavaskar Trophy by 2-1. In this way, India also won the 2023 Border-Gavaskar Trophy series by 2-1.
