There are some young players in the Indian team, who have the ability to play stormy side by side with the experienced players. Shubman Gill’s name was also included in these players. Gill is in good form right now. He has scored a century on the third day of the ongoing Ahmedabad Test against Australia. Gill was included in the squad in place of KL Rahul for the Indore Test after sitting out the first two matches of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. He could not perform particularly well in that match. However, now he has scored a century in Ahmedabad. Along with this, he has made a special record in the name.
Gill’s second Test century
Shubman Gill, who started the innings with captain Rohit Sharma, celebrated a brilliant century. He celebrated his century off 194 balls. It was his second Test century. Gill, who made his Test debut during the 2020-21 Australia tour, scored his maiden century against Bangladesh in December last year. However, Rohit’s comeback forced him out of the playing XI. However, Rahul’s poor form gave him a chance to play. Also, Gill completed his century with the help of 1 six and 10 fours. He is the second Indian after Rohit to score a century in this Test. Interestingly, he has done a special feat.
