Special post by Dharashiv MLA for Hungergekar, who made an impressive debut in IPL for Chennai, ‘Ai Tuljabhavani…’

Gujarat Titans won the first match of the 16th season of IPL. In the first match, Gujarat beat Chennai Super Kings led by MS Dhoni by 5 wickets. Even though Chennai lost the match, their players put up a great performance on the field. Rajvardhan Hungergekar, who hails from Dharashiv, also showed his brilliance. Tuljapur-Dharashiv MLA Rana Jagjit Singh Patil also took note of Hungergekarne’s performance in his debut match.

In the first match of IPL, CSK included Rajvardhan Hungergekar in their playing eleven. It was Hungergekar’s first IPL match and he showed his quality. In this match, Hungergekar spent 36 runs in four overs and took the most three wickets. Every player wants to perform well in their debut match. But many cannot do that. Hungergekar, however, made his IPL debut in Dimakh. Along with this, Hungergekar is the first player from Dharashiv to play in IPL. In this case, this is also a matter of pride for the representatives of Dharashiv. Tuljapur-Dharashiv MP Rana Jagjit Singh Patil praised Hungergekar in a special post on his social media account.

Considering the match played on Friday (March 31), CSK batted first after losing the toss. After winning the toss and electing to bowl first, CSK scored 178 for 7 in 20 overs. Rituraj Gaikwad, the opener, made the biggest contribution in this. Punekar Rituraj scored 92 runs in just 50 balls with the help of 4 fours and 9 sixes. Mohammad Shami, Rashid Khan and Alzari Joseph took two wickets each for Gujarat. Jos Little got one wicket.

In reply, after Gujarat came into bat, opener Shubman Gill scored 63 runs off 36 balls. Ma included 6 fours and 3 sixes. Hungergekar took 3 wickets from Chennai’s bowling attack.
