Prabhat Jayasuriya is also the fastest spinner to take 50 wickets in Tests. He broke Alf Valentine’s record. Valentine took 50 wickets in 8 matches during West Indies’ tour of Australia in 1951-52. Now spinner Prabhat has broken his record after 71 years. Also, talking about the overall bowling list, Charlie Turner is the fastest bowler to take 50 wickets in Test cricket. He had achieved this feat in the sixth match.
