Speaking to the media, Akhtar said, “I want to become the PCB chairman and create superstars for the Pakistan team. I want to start 50 superstars for Pakistan. After that their number will increase, which is to reach 100, 200 and 2000. I am very grateful to Pakistan Cricket and look forward to serving the board in the future.”
According to Shoaib Akhtar, there is no superstar player in the current Pakistan team. “There are no superstars at the moment, because they can’t speak in front of the camera. If a cricketer can’t speak in front of the camera, how can he perform well,” he added. As for Akhtar’s career, he has played 46 Tests, 163 ODIs and 15 T20 Internationals for Pakistan.
