Because, even though they didn’t give him a chance in 2021, he worked well throughout the season.” Raina added, “When Dhoni and I spoke, I advised him that you should play Robin Uthappa. Dhoni took me for permission and I said, he will win you the final match, trust me.”

Revealing, Raina also said, “MS Dhoni said, ‘Look, we both have been playing together since 2008, but I want to win this season. Now, you tell me what should be done.’ To this I said, play Robin at number three and make sure he remains a part of the playing eleven till the final. If you win, CSK wins. Either I play or he, Robin and Raina are one and the same.”
