T20 World Cup: Team India’s first bowling in semi-final! Harman fit, three changes to the team
In the ongoing Women’s T20 World Cup in South Africa, the Indian team entered the first semi-final against Australia. Australia team won the toss and decided to bat first in this match which is being held at Newlands. Three changes were made in the team for this match.

After finishing second in Group B, the Indian team faced the challenge of Australia in this first semi-final match. On the morning of the match, the team’s leading all-rounder Pooja Vastrakar was injured and ruled out of the tournament. There were also doubts about the participation of captain Harmanpreet Kaur in the team. However, she was eventually included in the team. Three changes were made to the Indian team for this match.
Devika Vaidya was replaced by Radha Yadav. So, Sneh Rana got a chance to play the first match of the tournament in place of the injured Pooja. Batsman Yastika Bhatia was included in the team in place of Rajeshwari Gaikwad, who was a complete failure in the league round.
On the other hand, the Australian team was at the top of Group A. Australia defeated India in the last World Cup final.
