Before this match, Australia had 140 points and a percentage of 75.56. However, after this defeat, they suffered a loss of four points. Also, the percentage also decreased to 70.83. However, they still remain at the top of the points table.

So, with a big increase in the percentage of marks, this percentage has now increased from 58.93 to 61.67. If the Indian team wins two more in the series, the team will directly enter the finals of the World Test Championship.
India and Australia see only Sri Lanka fighting for this final. If they win both their matches against New Zealand in March, they could see themselves playing in the finals. The final of the tournament will be played from June 7 to 11 at The Oval.
