This World Cup to be held in India will be played between ten teams. Each team will meet to play 9 league matches in between. After that, two semi-final matches and one final match will be played. The Indian team will be seen playing all their matches at different grounds.
The Indian team will begin their campaign against Australia on October 8 in Chennai. Then the Indian team will play their matches against Afghanistan on October 11 in Delhi and Pakistan on October 15 in Ahmedabad. India will play Bangladesh on October 19 at the MCA Stadium in Pune. India’s match against New Zealand at Dharamshala on October 22 and England against England at Lucknow on October 29 is scheduled.
The Indian team will play against the qualifiers on November 2 at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. India will face South Africa on November 5 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. India’s final league match will also be against the qualifiers on October 11 in Bangalore. Two teams from West Indies, Sri Lanka and Ireland are likely to advance from the qualifying round.
Also, the semi-final matches of the tournament can be played in Mumbai and Chennai. So, the final match will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
