India vs West Indies match was played on Wednesday (February 15) in the ongoing Women’s T20 World Cup in South Africa. The Indian team won this Group B match in Cape Town by keeping 6 wickets. With this, India jumped to the top spot from Group B with their second win in a row. Bowling all-rounder Deepti Sharma and batting skipper Harmanpreet Kaur and Richa Ghosh made India’s win easy.

After Pooja Vastrakar dismissed the opposition captain in the second over, Taylor and Campbell put on a 73-run partnership for the second wicket. With this, she became the first Indian bowler to score a hundred wickets in T20 Internationals. The West Indies team could only score 119 for 6 in the stipulated 20 overs.
