Team India’s schedule for the new season announced! Mumbai-Pune did not get the host post
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday (July 25) announced the venues for the 2023-24 home series. The senior men’s team will play a total of 16 international matches in this upcoming season comprising of 5 Tests, 3 ODIs and 8 T20Is.
Australia will tour India for a three-match ODI series ahead of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup. The series will be held in Mohali, Indore and Rajkot. After the 50-over World Cup, India will play a five-match T20I series against Australia, starting on November 23 in Vizag and ending on December 3 in Hyderabad.

Afghanistan will arrive in India for their first limited-overs bilateral tour at the start of the New Year. The three-match T20 series will be held in Mohali, Indore and Bengaluru.
India will then host England for a five-match Test series starting on January 25, 2024. This exciting Test series will be played in Hyderabad, Vizag, Rajkot, Ranchi and Dharamshala.
These events attempt to represent cities that have not been given the opportunity to host World Cup matches on a large scale. Mohali, Indore, Rajkot Vizag and Ranchi will not host any World Cup matches. After this, the Indian team will participate in the T20 World Cup to be held in June 2024.
