Thane Hampi Heroes qualified for promotion and play-offs

Today was the sixth day of Group ‘B’ match in Pratishthan Yuva Kabaddi Series in Krantijyot. All matches were important. Nanded and Thane teams would be playing to secure their places for the play-offs while the other teams would be playing to keep their hopes alive for the play-offs. Today’s first match was Ratnagiri Aravali Arrows vs Thane Hampi Heroes. The Thane team played aggressively and took a 15-03 lead in the first ten minutes.

At the end of the intermission, the Thane team was leading 25-15. Mangesh Sonawane from Thane played smartly and gave the team an important lead. Sairaj Kumbhar from Ratnagiri was fighting alone.

Thane Hampi Heroes dropped 3 lone Ratnagiri teams in the entire match to win the match 54-28 in one side. Thane team qualified for promotion and play-offs with fifth win. Due to the defeat of Ratnagiri team, Nanded Chambal Challengers team also qualified for promotion and play-offs. Mangesh Sonawane, Vignesh Chaudhary and Chinmoy Gurav completed the Super Ten from the Thane team. Ahmed Inamdar completed the hi fi by taking 6 catches.
