All the players of Rajasthan Royals are happy that I have joined the team.” According to Root, “The IPL is an experience that you cannot have anywhere else in the world. I have never experienced this before. So this is all going to be new to me. It’s going to be very exciting for me as a seasoned player. I have heard many things in IPL. But now I’m going to live it.”

The path to root will not be easy
However, even though Root is commentating on his IPL debut, the road to the IPL will not be easy for him. He has been out of the England T20 team for almost 4 years. In addition, he does not have much experience in T20 matches. Root has played 32 international matches for England. On the other hand, talking about total T20 matches, he has played 88 matches.
