The Aussie legend was impressed with Gill-Yashaswi’s performance, saying, “This is the future of India…”

Shubman Gill, playing for Gujarat Titans, scored his first IPL century in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad. He scored 101 runs off 58 balls. This included 13 fours and one six. After his innings, Moody tweeted,

Yashasvi Jaiswal, like Gill, has impressed everyone with his batting this season. His name also includes a century. Talking about the performance of these two, Gill has scored 576 runs at an average of 48 and a strike rate of over 146 in 13 matches this year. This includes one century and four fifties. On the other hand, Jaiswal’s performance also remained the same. He has scored 575 runs in 13 matches at an average of 47.92 while playing for Rajasthan Royals. Interestingly, his strike rate increased to 166 pars. He has also completed 4 fifties and a century like Gill.
