The rain spoiled the game! Despite getting an easy target, CSK fell short of victory

The match between Chennai Super Kings and Lucknow Super Giants remained a stalemate. The two teams faced each other on Wednesday (May 3) at the Ikana Stadium in Lucknow. CSK captain MS Dhoni won the toss and bowled first. But before the completion of Lucknow’s innings, rain entered the field.

The match between the two teams was supposed to start at the scheduled time ie 3.30. However, earlier the match was delayed by 15 minutes due to rain at the Ikana Stadium. Toss was held at 3.30 instead of 3. Lucknow batted first after the toss came for Chennai Super Kings. The Lucknow team who came to bat could score 125 runs in 19.2 overs. Meanwhile, 7 Lucknow players lost their wickets.

Moeen Ali, Mahisha Thikshana and Mathisha Pathirana took two wickets each for CSK. All-rounder Ravindra Jadeja claimed one wicket. Ayush Badoni, who came to bat as a finisher for Lucknow, became the hero. Badoni scored 59 runs in 33 balls. Yad included 2 fours and 4 sixes.
