Former South African all-rounder Lance Klusener has made a big comment about Indian team’s star player Hardik Pandya. He has said that Hardik is counted among the best all-rounders in the world. On Saturday (June 03), Klusener made a big statement saying that he may quit Test cricket to manage his workload. Pandya, who has faced many injuries in his career, played his last Test match in September 2018. Since then he has been playing consistently in limited overs cricket. Also, he has ruled himself out of the World Test Championship final against Australia.

Speaking at an event, Lance Klusener said, “Pandya is a brilliant cricketer. If he stays fit and bowls at 135 kmph, he is always tough to deal with. He is one of the best all-rounders in the world.”

Hardik Pandya ruled himself out of the WTC Final as he did not contribute even a cent in India’s tour and was not fit to replace others. Klusener was asked if Pandya had given up Test cricket on a whim. Answering this, he said, “Perhaps, the biggest test for any cricketer is Test cricket. Test cricket hasn’t changed that much, but I can understand that times have changed.”

Klusener also said that India could mount an attack based on pace or spin in the WTC final. He said, “Spin has traditionally been India’s strength. They have an attack that can play well on any pitch. The fast bowlers have also performed brilliantly in the past and have made it to the WTC final for the second time in a row. Now they play well on the green pitch.”

Asked about a strong contender for the WTC finals, he said, “It’s hard to say. It will be a match between Australian bowlers and Indian batsmen. Whoever wins this will be the winner.”

WTC Final Match (WTC Final Match) will be played between 7th and 11th June at England’s Kennington Oval ground. In this match India vs Australia teams will be facing each other.
