The ‘Speedstar’ of tennis cricket will play the MPL ground, Ratnagiri Jets gave an opportunity

The player auction for the first ever Maharashtra Premier League i.e. MPL 2023 was held in Pune on Tuesday (June 6). Six franchisees participated in this auction. These six teams together bid for as many as 128 players. It included many young as well as experienced players. At the same time, all-rounder Vijay Pavle, who has made his name in tennis cricket around the world, also got an opportunity. Vijay, who is known for his amazing fast bowling, is being congratulated by the tennis cricket world for getting the opportunity.

Vijay Pavle hails from Mangle village in Shirala taluka of Sangli district and till now he has many records in tennis ball cricket. He has been a part of the Indian team several times for the India vs Pakistan tennis ball cricket tournament held at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Dubai. As a fast bowler, he has made his mark in the tennis world.

Although he made a name for himself in tennis cricket, he started his cricket career with leather ball cricket. He has represented the Sangli District Cricket Team. Interestingly, a few years ago he also got a golden opportunity to go as a net bowler for Mumbai Indians.

Tennis cricket superstar Vijay will now be part of Jet Synthesis-owned Ratnagiri Jets in the MPL. They have shown faith by bidding him twenty thousand. The team also includes experienced players Azim Kazi, Nikhil Naik, Divyang Hinganekar and Nikit Dhumal representing Maharashtra.
