The idea is to start a Women’s T20 Champions League by admitting the women’s league winners and runners-up from India, England and Australia.

According to a report in a leading newspaper in Australia, the BCCI, Cricket Australia and the England and Wales Cricket Board are now considering a new women’s T20 Champions League next year after the unprecedented support women’s cricket has received in India. The winners and runners-up of the T20 leagues of these three countries will participate in this. There has been only a preliminary discussion about this, and no one has openly spoken in front of the media.

After almost five years of waiting, the first Women’s Premier League tournament in India was held in Mumbai in March this year. Six teams participated in this tournament which received good response from all over the world. Mumbai Indians won the title by defeating Delhi Capitals in the final match. Eminent women cricketers from India and other countries also participated in this league. That is why this Champions League can be planned in the future.

Australia has been playing their Women’s Big Bash League for many years. So, T20 Blast and The 100 competitions are held in England. In addition, the Caribbean Premier League in the West Indies has also started this year.
