‘These players are for the country…’, Harmanpreet Kaur praised someone after winning the WPL

Mumbai Indians won the first season of Women’s Premier League. Under the leadership of Harmanpreet Kaur, the Mumbai Indians won the title of the first WPL season. Harmanpreet gave a special reaction after winning the WPL trophy. Harmanpreet said that he was waiting to lift the WPL trophy for a long time. Harmanpreet said her team will perform similarly well in the upcoming WPL season as well. On this occasion, she also praised the young players of the team.

Harmanpreet Kaur said, “Many of the young players impressed this year. The captains of the Indian cricket team are confident that these young players will perform well for the country as well. These players will contribute 100 per cent for the national team.” Harmanpreet also shared his experience of defeating Delhi Capitals in the final. “Once we came to bowl first, we knew we could take any all out. It is important as a bowler to work on the strategy that you have planned.”

According to Harmanpreet, if the bowling strategy is changed in the ongoing match, the best performance cannot be given, feels Harmanpreet. Praising the goalies, Harmanpreet said, “Our players performed well in the tournament. Especially the bowlers. Our bowlers took the wickets of the opposition batsmen at regular intervals.” Harmanpreet further said that in important matches like the final one needs to take decisions with a calm head. If this is not done, the decisions made may weigh heavily on your own team. You must have quality, but working on strategy is more important, added Harampreet.

Meanwhile, considering the total of this match between the two teams, Delhi Capitals scored 131 runs while batting first. In reply Mumbai Indians scored 134 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 19.3 overs and won the match. (Harmanpreet Kaur praised the young players after winning the WPL trophy)
