You need to work hard in the powerplay. Because, the ball was getting slow and old. That’s how I, Jaiswal and Jose have played. Credit to the RCB bowlers for their energy and intensity.”

“I think it was a challenge that could have gone badly. If we had a good powerplay, I was hoping for a good match. I was just watching the wickets falling and thinking, where did we go wrong? I don’t think I have an answer to that yet,” he added.

‘The whole team has to take responsibility’
Talking about the journey ahead this season, Sanju said, “We all know about IPL, we saw some interesting things during the series. We have to stay strong. Have to take a day off and think about the game in Dharamshala. I think we need to end on a strong note. As a team we have to take full responsibility for this performance.”
