Third day of Team India! Team India 289 for 3 after Gill’s brilliant century
The third day of the Ahmedabad Test was marked by Indian opener Shubman Gill. India started the third day of the match with 36 runs not out and by the end of the day they had scored for the loss of three wickets. Opener Rohit Sharma failed to deliver as expected, but Shubman Gill completed his own century.
The team’s legendary batsman and former captain Virat Kohli and his partner Ravindra Jadeja showed restraint for the Indian team in the last overs on the third day. Virat Kohli 59, while Jadeja remains on the pitch with 16 runs. The Indian team is still 191 runs behind Australia.
