‘This’ English player has become a thorn in the middle of the ICC award and Jadeja, has won the bet for the second time in a row
The Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test is in its final stages. The fourth and final match of the four-match Test series is being played in Ahmedabad. Ravindra Jadeja, who is the number one Test all-rounder in this entire series, has plucked the feathers of Australia’s bowling. He has taken more than 20 wickets in the entire series. However, he still missed out on a major award. Also, a young player’s name has been in the news for the past few days in Test cricket. This young player has raised eyebrows with his stormy batting. Interestingly, he has scored a few such runs in the last few Tests, earning him a special gift from the ICC. However, Jadeja has fallen behind in this regard.
The player who received a special gift from ICC is none other than England’s young player Harry Brook. Brooke has been selected as the ICC Player of the Month for February 2023. In fact, the ICC nominated Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and West Indies spinner Gudakesh Motie for the award along with Brook. However, Brooke won the award in the end. The 24-year-old Brook has scored two fifties and a century this month. Earlier he also received the award in December 2022 Brooke.
