The IPL 2023 match at Jaipur’s Sawai Mansingh Stadium was a very special one for Royal Challengers Bangalore. In this match, Bangalore bowled out Rajasthan Royals for just 59 runs and defeated them by 112 runs. With this win, the Bangalore team moved up to the fifth position in the points table. Now more than the team’s victory, Bangalore wicketkeeper Anuj Rawat is the talk of the town. A video of him running out a batsman in a ‘no look’ avatar like MS Dhoni during the match is going viral.

It happened that Rajasthan Royals lost 6 wickets for 49 runs. The pair of Shimron Hetmyer and R Ashwin were managing the team’s innings. On the last ball of the eighth over of the innings, Hetmyer hit it hard and the ball reached the fielder on the boundary line. There was a scuffle between Hetmyer and Ashwin and Hetmyer denied Ashwin another run.

Ashwin was not far from the crease. Also, the fielder’s throw did not go straight to wicketkeeper Anuj Rawat. Before excelling in wicketkeeping, Anuj also shone in batting. Anuj, who came to bat in the last overs, batted stormily. He scored 29 runs in just 11 balls. He remained unbeaten this time. On the strength of Anuj’s explosive batting, Bangalore scored 171 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.

Rajasthan’s innings ended on 59 runs
Rajasthan batsmen could not sustain against the RCB bowlers. The Rajasthan Royals batting line-up, studded with star batsmen, had to bow down to the pace bowlers of Bangalore.
