This is something new! ‘Special practice’ of Smith-Labuschein before Delhi Test, pictures go viral

The second match of the Test series between India and Australia will be played in Delhi on Friday (February 17). Australia will try to make a comeback in the series from this match which will be held at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. After losing the first Test in Nagpur, Australia’s batting mainstays Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne practiced in a special way. Pictures of that practice are now going viral.

In the first test held in Nagpur, the Australian team had to face a humiliating defeat. The Australian batsmen literally plowed ahead of the Indian spinners. The Indian bowlers bowled out Australia’s first innings for 177 runs and the second innings for just 91 runs. Therefore, the Indian spinners will have a big challenge in front of the Australian batsmen in the Delhi Test as well.

Seeing this possibility, Marnus Labuchen, who is currently ranked first in the world Test batting rankings, and veteran Steve Smith practiced together. In the pictures that are going viral on social media, Labuchen is seen practicing in front of the wickets while Smith is seen behind the wickets. This is said to be practicing how much the ball turns.

Labuchen and Smith were Australia’s most experienced batsmen in the first match. Labuchen scored the highest 49 runs in the first innings. So, Smith scored 37 in the first innings and not out in the second innings.

Australia’s probable squad for Delhi Test-

David Warner, Usman Khawaja, Marnus Labuchen, Steve Smith, Travis Head, Alex Carey (wicketkeeper), Pat Cummins (captain), Mitchell Starc, Todd Murphy, Nathan Lyon and Jos Hazlewood.
