Lucknow Super Giants are just one step away from the playoffs in IPL 2023. On Tuesday (May 16), Lucknow won against Mumbai Indians by 5 runs and moved to the third position in the points table. Mumbai batsmen were trying to win till the last over. But Mohsin Khan gave Lucknow victory by doing some kind of bowling. Meanwhile, a video of Lucknow Sanga owner Sanjiv Goenka is going viral everywhere.

Mumbai Indians were given a target of 178 runs to win this match. In reply, Mumbai reached 172 for 5 in 20 overs. Despite openers Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma giving the team a good start, Mumbai had to accept the defeat. Mumbai needed 11 runs in the last over to win. Mohsin Khan came to bowl in front and Tim David and Cameron Green were the two foreign batsmen on the pitch. Although Mumbai shelled out huge sums in the auction to buy the duo, the team was disappointed by both of them on Tuesday. Neither of the batsmen could play a big shot in the last over and had to settle for 5 runs. As a result, Mumbai lost the match handily.

After Mohsin came to bowl in the last over, the hearts of everyone present started beating fast. Because both teams wanted to win to match the playoff tie. Lucknow franchise owner Sanjeev Goenka himself was present at the stadium to watch the match. A video of Sanjeev is going viral, in which he is seen praying to God for Mohsin and the Lucknow team.
