Triphala of Badoni, while Pooran Golden Duck; Lucknow’s planets revolved in Madhwal’s ‘Ya’ over

Akash Mathwal has been the ace this year for Mumbai Indians. Mathwal was once again able to take important wickets for the team. The Indian Premier League 2023 eliminator match was played on Wednesday (May 24) between Mumbai Indians and Lucknow Super Giants. Madhwal took wickets in consecutive balls when his team needed it. He is widely appreciated for these wickets.

The pitch in IPL 2023 remains batting friendly. In such a case, the team that won the toss was seen to decide to bowl first most of the time. However, Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and decided to bat first in the eliminator match. Mumbai team managed to score 182 runs in 8 overs in stipulated 20 overs. Akash Madhwa bowled 3.3 overs in this over and broke all the records. Akash has taken the most five wickets by spending just 5 runs in his quota. It turned out to be the best performance by an uncapped Indian bowler in the IPL. Along with this, Jasprit Bumrah’s big record was also broken. Bumrah had earlier taken five IPL wickets giving the lowest 10 runs. However, Akash has taken five wickets against Lucknow, conceding only 5 runs.
