Umesh Yadav in the Indian team within 10 days of his father’s death, forcing Australia to their knees

The pitch was favorable for spin bowling in the Indore Test match between India and Australia. But Indian fast bowler Umesh Yadav also made the opposition sweat with his own bowling on the second day of the match. Yadav joined the team for the Indore Test after his father passed away a few days ago. He was given a chance in the playing eleven and he made the most of it.

The Australian team had a good start in the Indore Test. But the Indian bowlers once again took the wickets of the visiting team quickly. This is the third match of the Border Gavaskar Test series between both teams and Australia has taken a lead of 88 runs. After the Indian team was bundled out for just 109 runs in the first innings, Australia was likely to get a big lead. But the trio of Umesh Yadav, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja restricted Australia to 197 runs. Yadav and Ashwin took three wickets each, while Jadeja took the most with four wickets to his name.

Meanwhile, fast bowler Umesh Yadav’s father Tilak Yadav passed away on February 23 after the Delhi Test match. After his father’s funeral, Umey Yadav rejoined the team for the Indore Test, which began on 1 March. Yadav, who sat on the bench in the first two Tests, became part of the playing eleven in the third Test. He bowled a total of 5 overs in the first innings of the match and took three wickets for 12 runs. Australian all-rounder Cameron Green was bowled by Yadav, while fast bowler Mitchell Starr and off-spinner Todd Murphy were bowled by Yadav. Yadav’s performance on this spin-friendly pitch deserves praise.

Australia started the second day with 156 for 4. Australia lost 5 wickets when the team score was 186. Australia lost 5 wickets for the last 11 runs. Earlier, while the Indian team was batting, Australia’s young spinner Matthew Kuhneman took the most wickets of 5 wickets.
