The first match of the Indian Premier League 2023 double header (two matches in one day) was played on Sunday (April 2) between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals. Umran Malik, who is known as the ‘Badshah of Speed’, shone well in this match which was played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Rajasthan crossed the 200 run mark
Talking about the match, Hyderabad captain Bhuvneshwar Kumar won the toss and decided to bowl. Batting first this time, Rajasthan scored 203 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs on the strength of three fifties by Jos Buttler (54), Yashasvi Jaiswal (54) and captain Sanju Samson (55).
