Virat Kohli has become the only player in international cricket to win 10 Man of the Match awards in all three forms of cricket. Virat had already been man of the match more than 10 times in ODI and T20 formats. But he did it on Monday (March 13) in the Test format. After receiving the man of the match award on Monday, Virat has won 10 man of the match awards in Test format, 38 in ODI format and 15 in T20 International cricket. In international cricket, no batsman other than Virat has been man of the match more than 10 times in all three formats of cricket.

Meanwhile, considering the overall Ahmedabad Test between the two teams, India took a lead of 91 runs in the first innings on the strength of Virat Kohli’s explosive performance. Australia were 3 runs unbeaten by the end of the fourth day of the match and still needed 88 runs on the final day. Australia not only broke India’s 88-run lead on the final day, but also regained the lead over India. Australia scored 175 for 2 on the last day. Eventually the captains of both the teams unanimously decided to stop the game and the match remained a draw. Earlier, India had won the first two matches of the series, while Australia had won the third match.
