The 20th match of IPL 2023 is being played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals. RCB are looking to get back on the winning track after their one-wicket loss to Lucknow Super Giants. Former RCB captain Virat Kohli scored a half-century against Delhi Capitals on Saturday (April 15) at their home ground.
On Saturday, RCB and Delhi met at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. Delhi captain David Warner () won the toss and bowled first. On the other hand RCB had to bat first after losing the toss. However, opener Virat Kohli and captain Faf du Plessis gave the team a storming start. Virat contributed 50 runs while Du Plessis contributed 22 runs. The duo also shared a 28-ball 42-run partnership for the first wicket.
RCB came into the field to play their fourth match in IPL 2023 on Saturday. In three of these four matches, Virat Kohli has scored half-centuries in the top order for the team. Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten 82* in the first match of the season against Mumbai Indians. He then lost his wicket for 21 runs against KKR. But he scored 61 against Lucknow Super Giants. Virat Kohli scored his third half-century of the season against Delhi Capitals. He had to play a total of 33 balls for this.
