The first match of the 4-match Test series between India vs Australia was played at Nagpur. The five-day Test match was ended by the host Indian team on the third day. India won the match by an innings and 132 runs and took the lead in the series. Experienced spinner Ravichandran Ashwin took the highest eight wickets for the Indian team in this match. In Australia’s second innings, he showed Australia’s opener David Warner the way to the tent and collected a new record in his account.
