In the first question Jaffer asks, what is the need for four opening batsmen in the team for the West Indies tour? Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Rituraj Gaikwad and Yashasvi Jaiswal have been included in the squad for this tour. According to Jaffer, Sarfraz Khan, who can perform well in the middle order, could have been included in the team in place of the four openers. Sarfaraz has been rocking Ranji cricket for the past few seasons.

Puja’s second question was that Abhimanyu Easwaran and Priyank Panchal have performed wonderfully in Ranji and for the country. These players have been knocking at the door of Test cricket for a long time now. Are they not being selected in the team just because they are not playing in the IPL?
