West Indies squad announced for World Cup Qualifiers! The player who won the IPL did not get a place
The West Indies Cricket Board has announced its squad for the upcoming UAE tour as well as the World Cup qualifiers. The team will be led by wicket keeper Shai Hope. All-rounders Kimo Paul and Gudakesh Moti have returned to this team. However, Shimran Hetmyer, who has been performing brilliantly in the IPL, could not get a place in the team.

West Indies Squad for World Cup Qualifiers- Shai Hope (captain), Rowman Powell (vice-captain), Shamrah Brooks, Yannick Caria, Casey Carty, Roston Chase, Jason Holder, Aqeel Hussain, Alzari Joseph, Brendan King, Gudakesh Motti, Keemo Paul, Nicholas Pooran (wicketkeeper) and Romario Shepherd.
