After this match, Virender Sehwag got angry with Umran Malik. He said that despite being with Umran Dale Steyn, he could not learn anything from him. Also, in the last match against Mumbai, Hyderabad had scored 200 runs while batting first, a challenge which Mumbai achieved with the loss of 2 wickets in 18 overs.
