“In the Indore Test, Australia should field three fast bowlers, Mitchell Starc, Scott Bowland and Cameron Green. Although we have good spinners, they cannot match the Indian bowlers. We should play to our strengths. In the first Test, Murphy managed to get wickets as Bowland was consistently hitting hard from a side.”

The Australian team entered the series determined to win a series in India after a gap of 17 years. Former cricketers of Australia as well as other countries had said that only Australia has a chance to win this series. However, the Australian team looked weaker than India in the actual series. All the Australian batsmen literally knelt before the Indian bowlers. The Indian team won the first two Tests in Nagpur and Delhi in three days to retain the Border-Gavaskar trophy for the fourth time in a row.
