The dispute between the Board of Control for Cricket in India and the Pakistan Cricket Board shows no signs of ending. For the past six months, the rivalry between the Asia Cup and the ODI World Cup has been going on between the two boards. Now the biggest news in this matter is coming out, Pakistan Cricket Board may withdraw from the upcoming Asia Cup.

As per the scheduled schedule, Asia Cup will be played in Pakistan in the month of August. However, BCCI and Indian government will not send their team to Pakistan for that tournament. The PCB had taken the stand that if the Indian team did not come to Pakistan, the Pakistan team would not come to the World Cup. However, Pakistan has taken a lenient stance on that issue and has given its word to the ICC to come for the World Cup. But, now the controversy flared up once again over the Asia Cup.

As the Indian team will not come to Pakistan for the Asia Cup, the Pakistan Cricket Board has suggested the option of playing the matches according to the hybrid model. In this it was said that Pakistan will play all their matches at home ground while Indian team will play their matches in Dubai. However, this proposal has now been opposed by Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. The team says that this will benefit the Pakistan team.

Now seeing the new opposition, it is being said that the Pakistan team is preparing to withdraw directly from the Asia Cup. Also, they will also reconsider whether to participate in the World Cup after this. If Pakistan does not participate in the Asia Cup, the tournament can be held in Sri Lanka or India.
