Will Pujara’s place in Team India be replaced? ‘This’ young batsman will become the new number three

Australia beat India by 209 runs in the final of the World Test Championship. In the near future, the 2021 World Championship had to be defeated in the final match as well. After that, it is said that the moves to make radical changes in the Test team have started. Now the experienced Cheteshwar Pujara is likely to be shown the way out directly from the Indian Test team.

There were high expectations from Pujara in this match against Australia. However, he failed to live up to these expectations in both the innings. Pujara has been playing county cricket in England for the past several years. So it was expected that he will do his best for the Indian team. After his poor performance, fans are seen talking about dropping him from the team.

The BCCI is also understood to be thinking of dropping Pujara from the squad and giving young Yashasvi Jaiswal a chance in the Test team. Jaiswal was part of the Indian team as a stand-by in the final of the World Test Championship. He is said to have been given an opportunity to understand the environment of the Indian dressing room. Meanwhile, he can now be seen batting at number three in the Indian Test team.

Jaiswal plays domestic cricket for Mumbai. He has literally rained runs while playing first-class cricket in domestic cricket so far. Ranji Trophy, Duleep Trophy as well as Irani Trophy, he has scored centuries with the bat in all important matches. He also scored more than 600 runs while playing for Rajasthan Royals in the recently concluded IPL.
