The ICC ODI World Cup will be organized in India in the month of October-November. The schedule for this World Cup was announced on Tuesday (June 27). The host Indian team is considered as the title contender in this World Cup. At the same time, India’s neighboring country Pakistan will be seen entering the tournament with conditions. Even before the World Cup, he has now made a condition that only after that his team will come to India.
Pakistan will play their match against India in Ahmedabad. While Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore will play two matches each, Pakistan has not scheduled a single match in Mumbai and Pune. Interestingly, Pakistan made it to the semi-finals and though their match was scheduled to be held in Mumbai, the match was shifted to Kolkata.
A joint security team of the Pakistan Cricket Board and the Government of Pakistan will now arrive in India before the Pakistan team arrives in India. The team will visit the cities where the Pakistan team will play and take stock of the security. The team will submit its report to the Pakistan government after inspecting the hotels where the Pakistani players stay, facilities available to the fans and visas.
The Pakistan team had made it clear before the schedule that they were not willing to play a single match in Maharashtra and North India. So their matches will be played in South India. Pakistan team also played matches in 2016 T20 World Cup in Kolkata.
