In the third match of the World Cup Qualifiers, Sri Lanka and UAE faced each other. In this match played on Monday (June 19), Wanindu Hasaranga put in a tremendous performance and led the team to victory. Hasaranga took 6 wickets in the match and it was also his best ODI performance. The Sri Lankan team lost this match by a huge margin of 175 runs.
This match between Sri Lanka and UAE was likely to be exciting. But Wanindu Hasaranga’s six wickets made the match very one-sided. Batting first, Sri Lanka scored 355 for 6. In reply, UAE lost all their wickets for 180 runs. The UAE team managed to bowl 39 out of 50 overs.
Hasaranga bowled 8 overs in this match and took 6 wickets at the cost of 24 runs at an economy rate of 3.00. In the meantime, he bowled an over.
