WPL 2023. Ellis Perry praises Smriti Mandhana, know what the Australian all-rounder felt

Legendary Australian all-rounder Ellyse Perry is currently playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Women’s Premier League. The captaincy of RCB Women has been handed over to Indian legend Smriti Mandhana. So far, more than one match has been seen in this women’s league. After the manner in which RCB beat Gujarat Giants on Saturday, the fans have been praising RCB for years. Meanwhile, a video of Elise Perry is going viral, in which Perry is seen praising Smriti Mandhan.

Both India and Australia have always been bitter rivals on the cricket field. The same applies to women’s cricket as it does to men’s cricket. But Australian legend Ellyse Perry believes playing with Smriti Mandhana is better than playing against her. Meanwhile, Ellis Perry’s performances in this first season of the WPL have been impressive. Perry has scored 205 runs at an average of 41 in the first 6 matches in the league. It also has two fifties. On Saturday, Perry remained unbeaten on 19 runs against Gujarat Giants to lead the team to victory.

Perry had recently said, “Playing with Smriti Mandhana is better than playing against her. She is an experienced player and it is good to see her batting. One learns so many new things by playing with her.” The video has also gone viral as Perry and Mandhana have a huge fan base.

Meanwhile, RCB Women’s performance in WPL 2023 does not look satisfactory. After losing their first five matches in the league, RCB won their last two matches. Sophie Devine’s stunning knock of 99 for RCB on Saturday saw RCB win. Sophie scored these runs in just 33 balls and at a strike rate of 275. Smriti, who came to the opener, was able to contribute 37 runs.
