WTC Final Prize Money: The winner will be rich, but so will the runner-up; The number will be read

India and Australia will soon meet to play the final match of the World Test Championship. This match will be played at the Oval ground in London from June 7. Australia is ranked number one in the World Test Championship for 2021-2023. On the other hand, the Indian team stood second.

ICC started this championship with the aim of making Test cricket exciting. Teams are awarded points based on Test matches and series in this tournament. The title match is then played between the two teams. In 2021, India reached the finals of the championship. There, the team faced a defeat against New Zealand. (India vs Australia)

Match to be played with Duke Ball
This time the match will be played with Duke ball. The Duke’s ball is used in Test cricket in England, Ireland and the West Indies. Earlier these matches were to be played at Lord’s but now they are being played at The Oval. The match will be played on a clean ground in terms of sponsorship to the ICC. Lord’s has some deals so the match cannot be played here.

The 2021 final was also scheduled to be played at Lord’s. But it was moved to Southampton due to Covid-19. It’s easy to hold back the bio-bubble here. Meanwhile, a Test match is being played at the Oval for the first time in June. Previously, no Test match had been played at this ground in the month of June.

A reserve day has also been set aside for the final of the World Test Championship. If weather causes play to last more than one day, the match will be played on the sixth day. The 2019-21 final was also played on a reserve day. New Zealand defeated India there.

What will the weather be like during the match?
Let us know how the weather will be during the final match of the World Test Championship. The weather will be clear for the first three days but rain is expected on the fourth day. In such cases the match may be played on a reserve day. Even if the match is played on the sixth day, the weather is going to be clear on this day.

Talking about the World Test Championship prize, the winning team will get $1.6 million which is around Rs 13 crore. At the same time, the runner-up will get 8 lakh dollars which is about Rs 6.5 crore.
